This is a wood carving time lapse of a Woodpecker. Handcarved from a piece of Fowering Lime (basswood) this time lapse shows the process of hand carving a Woodcpecker ony using hand chisels. Here at The Lovespoon Workshop we undertake all sorts of wood carving projects and unfortunately we do not have much time to enjoy hand carving animals, hands, people etc like we used to. With us dedicating more time to our YouTube channel we thought it was a good opportunity to demonsrate a different style of wood carving. We find this style of wood carving very satisfying.
