What Do You Really Need For Wood Carving – The Basics

My take on the basic tool required for woodcarving and firmly aimed at those new to carving.
These are the tools I feel that can be bought relatively cheaply and are easily available that will give the best versatility for some wanting to start carving.

Safety is paramount and I can’t stress enough the importance of learning to use any tool safely and, in particular for new carvers, to take your time and don’t rush.
