Router Carving By Hand – Makers Rock – New plunge router and carving bit

This project is a router carving that I did freehand. I used a new router bit with a 60 degree point on it. I also used a new plunge router for the carving. I also experimented with watercolor paint on this wood carving.

The carving is an homage to the band Garbage as it is the cover of their 1998 album ‘Version 2.0’ The carving was part of the Maker’s Rock collaboration. See how different woodworkers on Youtube approached the challenge to recreate a cover of a 90s album.

One of the requirements of Maker’s Rock is that it is a giveaway – so if you want to win this, leave a comment below then sign up here. http://eepurl.com/b_irUX
