How To Carve Letters In A Plaque With Simple Hand Tools

Carving is a simple task if you break it down. this plaque was made for a wedding gift. The wood came from an old Plaque and was easly repurpusod for this. it is made of Black Walnut. most of the carving was done with a knife and bench chisel. thought I have started playing around with a gouge and mallet.
