Worked great for our yard projects
I bought this not off Amazon but my local husky dealer. I recommend this saw over the Stihl ms170 as it’s a great camping saw or clearing limbs/small trees. Starts right up, bar is oiled nicely and it just RUNS and runs.
The first thing I like about this chainsaw is it only takes a couple of minutes from box to cutting trees. It’s powerful and so far, feels like a solid construct.
I also like the automatic chain oiling. It’ll quickly cut through branches as fast as snapping twigs. The only thing I am not a fan of is how loud it is compared to my other one.
In the past, I always used electric saws and even reciprocating saws to cut down my trees. I was excited to get this chain saw to be able to do some major clearing.
I was worried this would be hard to start, but I had no issues at all starting it. Ive only started it about 4x, but each time – it starts right up without any issues on the first pull.
its easy to handle. I thought it might be hard to wield around, but its not at all. Im a girl and had no issues controlling it while I used it to cut some large slabs of walnut.
Precise. So I didnt use it on a normal tree – I have been cutting large slabs of wood with it – but I can draw a line and follow it. So it is pretty precise and able to be controlled.
Easy to use even for a beginner. I plan on having this saw for many years. it appears to be very well made, it starts like a champ and its easy to use, even on smaller jobs.
It isnt a huge project to break it out and use it, so I can see myself using it a lot. Very happy with this saw.
